I do buy the ones that I feel will do me the most good but I hold my breath every time I install them. That kinda sucks! One thing I've been doing that might be helping me and you might want to try is disabling my anti virus and security program temporarily during the install. I use Webroot which can easily be disabled and re enabled by choice. John B. Also, have you tried calling them by phone? If you have your plugins covered under their Update Plan you can call them and they will repair your situation via live Team Viewer software they actually get into your computer remotely and fix the problem.

I tried this and it works very well if you're not squeamish about having somebody else inside your computer. Just another suggestion. Went through this V9 to V10 upgrade with a glitch that I solved. After I upgraded my qualifying plug-ins to version 10, I mistakenly made the choice to remove all my version nine plug-ins. Therefore, all my version nine plug-ins disappeared. The V10 plugs installed and are working fine. It has every legacy plug; you just need the license to activate it on your machine.

Had to re-grab my licenses via Waves Central. Now all is well. Hope that helps. Thanks, everyone! Billy86 Went through this V9 to V10 upgrade with a glitch that I solved. Having to download a 3GIG file to load a few megs worth of files is absurd.

I tried that method previously but also didn't work for me personally. Not with the current model, which is crazy. Basically upgrading half my plugins to 10 meant that half of my plugins on V9 will no longer work. If the problem is related to v9, I think it is safe to assume they are not going to support us.

I ended up calling Waves. And the guy did the TeamViewer with me and went through it all. That just doesn't seem right. Anyway, while he was doing whatever he was doing, I asked him if my old v9 plugins would work now. He said Yes. They are supposed to upgrade along with everything else IF you have the upgrade plan. If you don't have it, then they won't upgrade. They force you to pay; otherwise, what you initially paid for the plugins is just a waste of money.
