Disciples 2 servants of the dark patch




















The Servants of the Dark expansion features a bunch of additions, all the same as the Guardians of the Light , and still nothing that changes gameplay significantly. As I said for GoL , the only real addition that made much difference to me was the auto-resolve feature for combat. There are just some battles you know you're going to win or lose and being able to speed those up can save some time better spent making your next move on the map or getting into another more challenging fight.

Both of the campaigns in the game, featuring the Undead Horde and Legion of the Damned, are completely new with story and scenarios. The scenarios themselves are just as addicting and fun as they were before, but once again, there's really nothing new to play.

No new units. No new gameplay elements that make a difference. It's even more of the same, which, as with GoL , isn't an entirely bad thing, it's just not as exciting as it might have been either. All of the new campaigns in both of the expansions are high level. In order to play, you have to export a level 10 or above leader from the original Disciples II campaign. The bad thing for most fans of the game is that they've long since uninstalled and deleted their characters and heroes, as I had.

Strategy First did take this into account and added a leader of each type for each of the four different races that are level 12, so you won't have to play through the first game all the way.

The bad thing is that they're hidden on the CD so that you'll never be able to find them unless you read the readme file all the way to the end where it tells you how to include their pre-made high level heroes. Those that remember their heroes fondly will be able to change the name of the hero to whatever you like at the beginning of the campaign, so pretending it's your original hero won't be too hard. My problem with these high level scenarios is the same problem I had with the rest of the game when it originally came out.

You can only carry one leader over per level and no troops. So you have to go through the motion of building up troops each game, which is entirely annoying, especially when the whole map is littered with incredibly powerful creatures.

Even sticking powerful units in with your weak ones to build them up can be a pain in the butt. Half the time they die anyway because they're seen as the weak link by the enemy AI.

I really wish that they had figured out a way to ramp up the difficulty of scenarios differently so that you could bring more than one leader into the next round. This is really what made the difficulty level so high originally and continues on in that vein even with the easy setting. Along with the new campaign come some new scenarios, multiplayer maps, and a random map generator. RotE support GR heroes, but have minor stats screen bug only when you start a new game. One of the RotE from Gold heroes compatible with GR cause 3 lvl only and same artefacts , but crashed.

I re-save him in GR. Original Tutorial v. Ah I see, thank you for the files, this makes everything much simpler! Also, do you happen to know where to find the change log from the game versions?

I tried googling but I couldn't find much info, all I know is that GR is apparently harder. Web archive can help. But there is no of-al changelog for 1. All we know that 2. Most technical and balance chages from 1. One or even two of two-sized demons have additional attack ability.

Lyf have different description about Dark Elves race. It have changes for 2. For 1. The sad thing though is the game version. Both versions are: "file version: There is same problem, when i try run disciples 1 with your wrapper on both versions: When i run mission, there is interface problem: when i change party , picture, where shoul be displayed image of hero and info about his movie points doesn't changes: it always shows image of last selected cities.

If i have selected hero on map, i also can't choose buttons, which are below place, where should be displayed image of hero and info about his move points, i mean these buttons: "Guard", "Plant rod", "Use Staff or Scroll" i know that not all heroes have active this option, so i checked this with arch-mage and arch-angel to with same result.

With button "Use Staff I know this is a issue connected with wrapper, because i can run game with unmarked option "Use DirectDraw", and then there is no this problem. I also checked this problem with varoius option in wrapper, which can influence on this wird interface behavior: vsync off and on, aspect ratio, interpolation, full screen mode, coold cpu and this problem always exist, when wrapper is enabled.

This issue is present also when i load saves, which work properly without wrapper. It could be more serious issue with interface on openGL, than only about this "plant rod" button at map second "Continue" button at game menu. Please check this problem, because i think this mod is very interesting, because it breaths new life into these old classic games mostly because of game performance is increased and changing resolution is possible now: i have been looking for this such a long time in disciples.

I dont think you need replace dlls. Did you have latest app version? As i know it removed from G-Play Another emuulators exist. Exagear's devs seems "dead", and that app never work good Hi Nyga, If you can access the filesystem that exagear uses, you should be able to do the same DLL replacement that's done in Windows.

Linux based file systems are case sensitive, while Windows are not, so it's possible to accidentally end up with two of the same DLL in the folder. Hello Verok The patch works perfectly on Disciples 2 except for multiplayer. When I click the "Multiplayer" button on the main menu, the game tries to switch to the "Multiplayer" screen, then it doesn't finish loading, then the game crashes and goes to desktop.

It will give you almoust the same result, but with two small black lines at top and bottom of the screen. Maybe you are using steam version, and steam recovers original dll file. Check the file size of C4dll-R. Maybe u got the time to join some team viewer or something like that? I Could show You my folder and all configs.

It should be 1. Download and extract archive. Copy and replace those files. And new files should be 1. No, I have no plans to do that. There are still few bugs which are needto be fixed, but thats all. For GOG version start game directly from Disciple. On Win10 turn off any compatibility from exe except adminrun. Turn off DSR resolution increase in video driver. It can delete any in one click, but again - except sdb. Hello, Verok.
